Speaking Clubs & Student Research

Classroom speaking clubs can be a good setting for sharing student research.

Sometimes the speaking club role a student takes necessitates some mini research; sometimes his research needs to be in-depth. If roles rotate, students would be exposed to many ways of finding, creating and sharing information.

Totally Unbelievable Speaking Club wiki

This wiki was developed for a workshop and some of the handouts are included. Roles are described for a Gr 5-7 but could be modified for other levels and curriculum connections. Technology use is encouraged, but is optional.
