Diigo is the social bookmarking tool that just got a Schlib workout. The links from our tools page, kidlit page and wiki sidebar have been added to the links from e-mail messages written in the last couple of months. As time goes along, more of the archived emailed links will be added to Diigo. We'll start by adding Poetry Month and Earth Day links from amongst those archived. We'll also get some more good links up there for the library techs. Future blog entries can be created directly from Diigo which will save time.

So..now there's a Schlib wiki, a listserv with an e-message archive, a blog, a Netvibes portal, a Twitter account and a social bookmarking site for quick access to links.

You might wish to look at the Teachers' Domain at http://www.teachersdomain.org/ where you will find many excellent resources such as interactive web resources, lesson plans, pdf support files, Quick Time video excerpts, and activities for K-12 in many subject areas . You will be required to register the first time you use Teacher Domain. If you cannot find your school in the registration process, just add it. There is no cost to register. More than 333,000 educators in 177 countries use Teachers' Domain products, apparently.

The site is searchable by keyword and grade level.
